Que custodiet ipso schlong?

I'm wondering if all of the people I see reading Watchmen on the train get as self conscious as I do at all the pages of Dr. Manhattan's schlong? Or, as I noticed last night, of the paunchy, nude Dan Dreiberg wandering around his Owl-cave looking at all of his gear?

I'd hate to be thought of as some sort of hobo who likes to sit around getting jollies at cartoon naked people in public, even if it is the source of a future blockbuster movie.
